No connection after firmware update.

I updated the firmware and now I'm unable to connect.

Connect to the unit or connect to the ECU? If you have an RTP, make sure the Demon checkbox is checked appropriately. Make sure all other settings are the same as before hit the program button at the bottom of the software.

I'm unable to connect to the TV with my computer.

Does the unit say "Connecting" as it normally would when just plugged into USB? Is there a "D" in the corner of the display?

The only thing that shows up are dim squares on line 1 and 3 across the screen.

The software should still be able to connect, you just won't see any of your settings. If this is the case, you should be able to upload the firmware again. If not, I'd be happy to reflash it for you, but you'll need to send it back to me to do so.

Unfortunatly it attempts to connect but proptly disconnects.

If you have set steps I can try it here before I ship it...

It should still connect, even if the firmware update failed.

The only other thing you can try is check the Device Manager to make sure it's there, set the software to the COM Port, and try to Connect manually, instead of auto-connect.

There are no other steps, it needs to be manually reflashed if it won't connect at all. You'll be the first.
