Tuning a lsvtec automatic

i have a 98 integra ls. im currently doing a lsvtec conversion. i m goin to order a p72 obd1 gsr automatic ecu. is it possible to tune it with neputne?

If it's a chippable ECU, then yes.

i dont know if its possible to chip it. i have heard that is not possible to chip a automatic ecu. then a friend of mine said as long as its a obd1? what whould u think?

There's automatic ECUs chipped all the time, however, the OBD1 P72s I've seen are not like the rest of the OBD1 family of ECUs. They're not chippable. You could try using a chipped automatic ECU (P75 converted to VTEC perhaps) with the appropriate conversion harness that has auto wiring as well. I know it's been done before, so there must be something out there about how to do it. Unfortunately I've never seen it first hand, so I don't want to offer any bad advice.

NepTune is for OBD1, not OBD2.
